I thought it was a good season, not great. You could tell they are setting up other story lines throughout this season(Chapo), but I was a little underwhelmed with the ending. I've watched all the seasons so this is not a review from a new fan. The season had a great build up, I liked how they incorporated Pablo and Cali, that was dope but the whole "Rafa love story" really wasted a lot of time. I get it, he was in love but there was too much time dedicated. I also thought they didn't pull in enough of the real events, like the actually news cycle during that time as they did with other seasons. Not sure if that was a change in strategy but I felt more connected to other seasons when they could cut to the real news anchors after a scene. There were some examples later in the season. I finished this season in 2 days. I will watch it again and my review might change but as for now, I'd say this was a good season but not great when compared to Pablo or Cali.
