I could not be more disappointed in a series reboot. The dialog in each episode is nothing short of cringeworthy, not seeming to fit the characters that were developed over many seasons. The effort to be culturally relevant comes across like a sledgehammer to the viewer, making the storylines feel disingenuous. Tonight's "lesson" was cultural appreciation vs. appropriation, and yet that "story" was reduced to simple stereotypes - Madame Alexander country themed dolls = bad, wearing a Sari = good if you're invited to join the Diwali celebration. Every episode skirts at surface level, missing the mark. Can't believe I've watched this long hoping it would get better
