I'm huge fan of 20 years. I will say that the show does start of a little slow but I think it’s building up the different cast. I do feel it start to pick up during episode 2. The beauty and visual imagery of the world created feels amazing and draws you in to world. The audio is great and hopefully they will introduce similar sounds from the original to give it some fire and nostalgia. Whether you are Tolkien fan or not it doesn't matter , it is still stunning. It blows my mind how some some so called fam are giving this bad reviews without allowing the story to develop. It’s only two episode and they’re ready to tear the show down. I understand not being happy and the accuracy of the book, or the direction the show writers went with the cast of characters but give it a chance. I’m hooked and I’m coming in this with an open mind. I’m definitely adding this to the collection of shows that I’m currently watching now!
