Every 5 star review on here reads like an overly enthusiastic paid promotion. Mainly because the all mention the books and the “game” not using any actual terminology anyone who is a fan uses. They completely tossed everything about halo out. Do not follow the books or game. The covenant is no longer Aliens on a purge but also has humans. And it’s a woman, and surprise, Romeo Juliet story. The only reason I realized this was related to halo was from the title. I hope this gets canceled so they can redo it. On a theatrical review. They don’t explore anything familiar in halo. But instead the show quite literally feels like the Mandolorian and Star Wars failure of a ripoff. If I leave the fact that it’s supposed to be Halo. I would maybe rate 2.5/5 stars. It’s not all that compelling, combat is cheesy, it’s just a standard 1 or 2 season show that probably won’t have any cult like fan base.
