This film is definitely underrated! Every element of the narrative had a purpose and it seldom leaves you questioning the point of anything. For a sequel, this film exceeded my expectations. The plot had the right amount of twists and was the perfect amount of darkness for a children's movie. The film does not shy away from dramatic actions or heartbreaking moments. Humour was used effectively, as it was in the firts movie. The visual element was incredible, as can be expected from a Disney film. The film never failed to keep my attention and had me gasping at every scenic change. The wardrobe was STUNNING (especially for Maleficent and Aurora)! It is not the world's most innovative story, as can be expected from a fantasy children film, however it was executed fantastically! Well worth your time and would blow your mind as a child!
