I was browsing on Hulu and came across this movie which I'd never heard of before. I thought, with DeNiro and Keaton, it must be worth watching. Boy, was I wrong. It's one of the most cringey and unfunny movies I've seen in a long time. Pretty much all the characters are annoying and unsympathetic. Of course, it's set around an upper class family who live in a large, beautiful home in Conneticut who all have first world problems of their own making. I can never bleach my eyes enough to erase the image of Robert DeNiro performing oral on Susan Serandon. Enough said.

Frances Pugh is fantastic. She owns this movie. The story was very atmospheric and absorbing. There's a mystery with a heart breaking reveal.

I couldn't make myself watch the whole movie. The plot is rediculous, unfunny, slow, meandering, preposterous, and boring. All the characters are pretty unlikable, annoying, boring, or all the above. It's just not a good movie. I'm generally not a harsh critic, but for some reason it really grated on me.

Don't watch this show if you think it will have a resolution at the end of 9 episodes. The story is dragged out so much and the last episode ends on a cliff hanger. It's a big time commitment with no payoff.

Captivating! I watched the whole series in 2 days. Great writing and acting.
