Wullie Lewis

Being a fan of the old Spencer series made me hesitant to watch it but watched it anyway. It's missing some of the old charm that the Robert Ulrich Spencer had,new versions of olds always will. It's a good film in its own right,would like to see more of them being made ! The plot is basic, dirty cops and corruption as per in most of this film genre but it does carry it off with ease and it's highly watchable. This is never going to be a box office smash,the old one wasn't ,so why should this affect it's ratings. Great cast,enjoyable action plenty one liners thrown in. Definately not a waste of time watching it,just a great film to sit and watch nothing more nothing less !
