Bunny Beane

From a haunted mansion superfan, I think this movie was super fun and I loved it! That being said there are a few things I nitpicked- personally, I wouldn’t have made Hatbox the villain of the movie, but I get the characters are interpreted differently by everybody so I guess I don’t mind too much. However one thing that I was pretty bummed about was the lack of screen time that a lot of the ghosts got. I can’t speak for everybody, but I can speak for ALOT of fans when I say we WANT TO SEE THE GHOSTS!! That’s who we care about the most! Give them more screen time, especially the hitchhikers, they’re such iconic characters of the ride yet they barely get any screen time. Regardless I enjoyed the movie and will DEFINETELY watch again, but, yknow, I think it could’ve done with a few little changes. Overall I think it’s an entertaining movie, the visuals are stunning, especially the sets, and there are quite a few refrences to the ride to spot out, which made me happy.
