It's a great movie.
Even if it had been a story of a fictional actor and shot in the same way it would have been a great movie. I think that's a success in itself.
I'm not the right person to judge if it's based on facts of has a lot of fictious elements to add to the drama but it is an entertaining movie from the word go.
Kudos to Keerthi Suresh and Dulquer Salman. They stand out. They were just amazing.
Mohan Babu gaaru, Rajendra prasad gaaru, Bhanu Priya gaaru, Prakash Raj gaaru, Divyavani and Avasalara Srinivas shine in what what little screen time they have. Special mention about NagaChaitanya. He pulled a very convincing ANR. Personally I would prefer Nagarjuna there but that's my preference.
I particularly loved Samantha and Vijay Sai Devarkonda's track. It was subtle and nostalgic. Lunas, buses and the then Madras.
It added much needed normality from the heavy drama that was going on Savitri's life.
I knew why I fell in love with Samantha from her first movie. But few years down the line, I had few questions about my love for her. But not anymore. She did awesome even in Rangastalam.
Standing ovation to the technical team be it music, costumes, editing, cinematography or the art direction and other numerous other people who contributed to in their own way - just one word to describe "fantabulous"
I enjoyed the movie as a movie very much and that's all I expect from a movie-entertainment.
