Mildly Distressed

I came into this really wanting to like it. I hadn't ever seen any of Amy Schumer's work in the past and had always heard negative things about her but I figured I'd give it a chance. Let me preface by saying: I love to laugh, I love comedy, I love comedians, and I think women can be funny. I think that Sarah Silverman is hilarious. With that out of the way, I can honestly say that I laughed maybe twice during this comedy special and that neither time was because of something funny she said. The first time was out of embarrassment and the second was a chortle of astonishment at how accurate the descriptions of her comedy are. I'm really sorry to anyone who enjoyed this special -- you have a poor taste of humor. The majority of the jokes are as follows: Amy Schumer: States fact Amy Schumer: Makes unfunny comment about fact Amy Schumer: "Isn't that funny?"
