The gameplay was AMAZING! and so were the visuals, but I felt like the story was missing huge chunks. For example, when The Marauder shows up he hates the slayer but it's never explained why or who he is.

It's just not a Call of Duty game. Whatever was COD died with bo4 and this game is trying to stitch the corpse back together. This game feels like the unpached first version of battlefield 4. The campaign is pretty good and honestly the best part of the game. Multiplayer is filled with campers and the map design feels like it's encouraging it. The game also has constant updates which some people see as a bonus but nothing changes except for what you can spend money on. I loved Call of Duty when I was growing up and I still want to love it but with a new game year after year they're just beating a dead horse.
