What a Disappointment..over dramatic tosh with terrible background music that really got irritating. Lots of looking up at the sky but sadly no aliens appeared whatsoever. Budget film all fizz with no bang. 2 hours of my life wasted.

Really disappointing after so much publicity, this didn’t give you a good nostalgic feeling like “Darling buds of may” or “All creatures great and Small” Acting was wooden and totally detached from the reality of the 1950s. Thought this would be an Ideal programme for Sunday evening, like the good old days of Sunday evening viewing, but sadly it wasn’t to be and I shall not be watching this again.
