I read the reviews, and find that in the first season of any series, things are slow moving. It takes a few episodes for everything to settle and fall into place. Characters development is slow going, generally in the first season. If we go back, and watch the first season of Buffy, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries and more supernatural series the acting is lazy, characters are trying to find their way and developed. Sarah Michelle Gellar never disappoints, she is a seasoned actress and seems to fall into her characters very easily. The other actors in the series will take a bit of time. I find the story interesting and the plot is developing. We all need to go into it with an open mind to the story line. The CGI will develope, the characters will develope. Don't compare it to other series, give it a minute to find its way.
