Only VFX doesnt.l make a film GREAT..
Overall an ok film with good visuals but marred due to overhype.....
cheesy dialogues ..poorly etched characters...lazy storytellling...
Expected much much more ....

Some films are not meant to be remade...specially by those who do not grasp the essence of the original....this film is an insult to Forrest Gump and to that great talent named Tom Hanks
Note: This review is based on the Trailer only...don't think it would have changed a bit if I saw the movie (and I would rather watch Forrest Gump again and again and again...rather then watch a cheap soulless remake even once)
Also - I think this current criticism by Hindutva groups is just giving more credence to this...it's a worthless distraction
