This is the story of a remarkable animal, an octopus, and the unlikely friendship that a nature photographer forges with her. I found it amazing and wonderful. I did not agree with the photographer’s reticence to intervene on his octopus friend’s behalf when she was in danger. He believed that he “shouldn’t interfere with nature”, but the “nature” of friendship is that you help one another. Next, I’m going to read “Soul of an Octopus”, to learn more about this amazing animal.
