Ever since I was little I always thought that the power of the story of Mowgli was the relationship he had with Bagheera and Baloo and the wolves. If you put Disney aside and compare to other live action movies of the jungle book, I would say this is the most intimate and best portrayal of that relationship between Mowgli and the animals. Personally, I'm sick and tired of the superficial movies that were made before. I was pleasantly surprised by the movie after having read the reviews. Even my 5 year old didn't like the previous ones and this one sat down beside me to watch it. I was right not to listen to those bad reviews because clearly there is some agenda behind it. Congratulations Andy Serkis! What a beautiful movie! And what a great cast as well!
