I've read 3 of this series and I'm so excited that there are many more to go at. I love murder mystery, social history, especially of women's lives. Particularly this period. It was exciting to discover Beatrix Potter in the novel. Miss Ardleigh, the heroine is a fiesty challenger of social rules at a time of great social change. I am so enriched by these novels, and entertained.
