Honestly I loved the movie and all the references to both the games and the books. I do wish that it could’ve had some more of the horror aspect but overall it was still better than I was expecting because I was hearing that it wasn’t good and people were complaining online I was hesitant about watching it but honestly now that I’ve seen it I can say that if you aren’t a long time fan you wouldn’t understand or like the movie because you actually need to know the lore to understand the movie.
