It's a good book. I read it in high-school/maybe Junior high? When I was a kid; there were parts of the book I related to, but I was easily distracted. I don't even know if I finished it back then, but I'm reading through it now and it really takes me back to not just my experiences that made me relate to the book, but to that time in my life. Hope feels like a real person and her frustrations are so relatable. Of course now in 2024 during a time where I have a larger understanding of the world around me; there are certain things that haven't aged super well, but nothing that I've read so far that would make me put the book down. Again, this is a good book.
