This game is like Descent free-space and Eve online had a baby. I'm coming from Starmade, where I've put in over a thousand hours, and have found this to be insanely refreshing. I've had this game less than a week and have over 300 hours into it, and I imagine I'll put well over 10 times that. Honestly, since this game has an automatic trade system, and as a result, I have not turned it off since I started playing it. I went camping after setting up some traders, and have come back to millions of credits back in the game, and a LOT more to do. I just started the story and am pleased with the characters that you interact with. The character models honestly are a little garbage, but the ships, graphics, and overall experience is otherwise breathtaking. I'm building a dedicated second gaming machine to run this game 24x7, so I can continue to pretend to be a productive adult. Definitely scratches my itch of needing some first person space fighting, while also allowing me to manage my empire of trade ships and space stations. Would definitely recommend this game.
