Stirling Davenport

When I was a child, I missed a lot of school being at home with asthma. My mother read to me constantly from this book and it remains one of the most beloved books in my library. I memorized so many of these poems and it certainly contributed to me being the poet I am today. We all owe a debt of gratitude for making this stellar writing available to children.
