It’s called ‘outlast’ not ‘out-do’ I understand it’s hard to see how cruel humanity can be but every apocalyptic show, book, or movie points out how selfish people can/will be. I learn and appreciate how the native people survived such harsh environments with no modern equipment every survival show. I think they were hoping they would form a community and utilize each others skill set. From what I understand from people in every century is money, greed, and power takes over all sense of morality. If anything, take this show as a lesson to not be like that. Even on ‘Alone’, some of the most creative survivalist can be out done by someone who sleeps in their tent all day and starves themselves.
