I was massively underwhelmed. A hugely missed opportunity to show how terrifying things were then. Not sure which part of Ireland Judy Dench is supposed to be from, I think twenty different parts. Nothing really happened all the way through and then we were supposed to believe the family had to get out for their own safety. The soundtrack is great and I love Van but the fact is he didn’t go near the place during the so called troubles. The soundtrack should have featured the music of Rory Gallagher who never stopped playing to his Belfast audience.
