Maybe it's because I went into this with very low expectations looking at the critics reviews, but I find myself wondering how many actually saw the original. I'm seeing reviewers say "not scary," "too slow..." The original is MUCH slower paced with even fewer "scary" moments than this version, and I LOVE the original. I thought this was a perfectly good reboot for a new trilogy. I am interested to see what happens to some of the characters as time goes on. The acting was good, the visual effects were great... People who complain "not much new." How much new can there be? People get possessed by a demon... people want to get the demon out... So, I thought it was good... and I look forward to the next movies.
