First, let me remind you that this is the company that made GOT, which was brutal, intriguing, and driving through most of its seasons. And dropped the ball entirely on the last. Episode one gave me great hope. But after 3 more episodes, (the 3rd which was GREAT, but completely pointless to do within the overall story, and the 4th which I couldn't even finish, it was so ridiculously bad), I have no choice but to give this show 1 star. It's very simple. This is another IP which a big company has released which has almost no coherence and no resemblance to the original work. The LOU is one of the most beloved games by the gaming community. Regardless of the feelings about characters in the game, you cannot argue that fact. All HBO had to do is literally copy and paste a cinematic game for an audience that didn't know anything about it. Not only has this show not been suspenseful, but it's been weak at best. The game this story was based on is a SURVIVAL HORROR game, and I cannot even remotely understand what this show is. I would say that it's unbelievable, but due to the state of "hollywood", it should have been expected. I had such excitement and high hopes for this, and it's just another franchise drug through the dirt.
