Agree that “Becoming Elizabeth” appears to follow more authentic info about the female humans of the time over the male domination. Found other Tudor series ok, Reign? Come on. Lost me after 1.5 seasons. I hope the topic & this production offer a Season 2 to finally actually depict the stark differences between Queen Mary I & Queen Elizabeth I as neither would rule the same, shared a similar fate in never marrying (why would they?) & men saw to that permanent division, saddens some of us older female types hanging on for more equality. More balance. The series about The White Queen, White Princess & “who” all should now know appears was King Henry VIII greatest truest love, the Spanish Princess, Katherine of Aragon, next to Anne Boleyn! Yes Henry did love them both! Those series had wings of female strength in the midst of men who could as easily beheaded them & became survivors nonetheless. Gracias!
