In the original, you were rooting for Kevin and against the burglars. In this movie, I found myself rooting for the couple that was simply trying to get their doll back over a spoiled, bratty kid. The whole mess started with an irresponsible mother rudely using an open house so her child can pee. The only highlight was seeing Buzz from the original two movies.

I really wanted to like this show, because I have liked Bialik since her Blossom days and especially loved Amy Farrah Fowler. Watching it the first time reminded me of another show with a phenomenal actress I loved - The Cool Kids with Vicky Lawrence (not just because both shows co-star Leslie Jordan). They both seemed forced and not very funny. I had the impression that The Cool Kids wouldn’t make it to season two and I was correct. Sadly, I have the same impression about Call Me Kat.
