Great story! A few things could have been executed better. SPOILER ALERT: For example, the reporter (Kyra Sedgwick) was way too fast at the end to shove a mic into Nick’s face, and exclaim “You’ve proven your innocence” when only a moment before, he held up the diamond. People on the scene could not know everything the viewer knew to understand what had just happened. It just wasn’t fleshed out enough. Another part that could have been better developed was Mike’s backstory. The way it played out let the viewer know how we were supposed to feel, but didn’t give us enough information as to why. Another issue I had was the over-the-top exploitation of Genesis Rodriguez’ body. I completely understand why hot women help to bring in male viewers, but even my husband found the gratuitous exposure of her body throughout the heist embarrassing and an insult to his intelligence. Even so, I would still say it was worth watching for the detailed execution of the heist. It just could have been done better.
