Not as good as the 1979 original but light years ahead of the 90’s tv movie.
A decent vampire story with some good effects, acting and character development. The story works but if you’re a fan of the tv movie or the book the movie will frustrate you with how much is left out, and you really feel that missing hour of the miniseries. Overall not bad and if you’re looking for a fun vampire film you’ve found it.
