I watched this when I was 6 years old quite a lot then forgot about it up until recently. I'm 24 now, I'd say it's a really fun film to dive back into if you don't take it too seriously to pick apart the details and expect a deeper meaning to it. It's your standard quirky girl vs mean popular girl but I love the portrayal of how dramatic Lola can get in the movie. It's absolutely ridiculous that it's fun, just exactly like a teenage girl acts. I understand that people do not like her personality as a liar but being realistic, this is literally how teenagers are so I never really minded it. Also, I personally don't think Lola needed a love interest (Sam) since he was literally just there... if anything, Carla or Ella and Lola had more chemistry than Lola and Sam. It's not perfect, but it's a really fun watch, I was expecting it to be a little cringe but it's not bad. I'd recommend it as a downtime movie to watch that isn't too much heavy on plot.
