People who give poor ratings are culturally biased and their comments are unreliable. I almost not watching it because of their untrustworthy reviews. I'd trust the comments that the book is better but even those, they'd give the movie a 4 out of 5 rating and not 1. As for me, I've never read the book and the miniseries were exciting, satirical, metaphorical, sad, artsy, and twisty. It was culturally entertaining! If you've watched a bit of shows that are on Netflix and wherever else, you'd appreciate watching the Sympathizer. Pure quality 👌 👏.

Beautiful story with an unexpected plot and ending. Good looking actors and played their roles so well. I didn't fast forward any of the episodes, that says a lot.

This movie is so epic and so entertaining. I love every seconds of the 3h5m till the end. I don't think I can watch another Hollywood action movie after this.
