John Chaney

Shaley tells her life story of struggle, success, addiction, recovery and ultimately redemption. As a heternormative male I found many connections with the universal struggles we all have in life. I have many lgbtq+ people in my life and was reminded of the struggles they have had as well as gaining deeper insight. Shaley has a wonderful way with words and injecting humor into a variety of situations. While reading the book to my partner we found ourselves stopping to laugh often or have discussions. Well done!
