Really, really bad make-up! I thought it might be one of those Christian shows at first because of all the wooden one dimensional characters (especially the townspeople) but too many f-bombs for that. Then I thought it might be a comedy since it did make me laugh out loud on a few occasions. Finally I came to the conclusion that it was just dumb like a really weird after school special.

Some nice description of the flora and fauna of a southern marsh. Really corny dialogue and one dimensional characters. The murder is a bit weird but it’s what kept me reading. A good beach read but not great literature.

This book was recommended to me by a stranger in a book store. I understand that many people love Kate Morton books but for this reader she fell short. I finished it but it felt like a chore. It doesn’t get better! By the end I could care less about any of the characters or plot lines. It was really just a super corny super confusing contrived mess dripping with cheesy romantic notions.

Total waste of time! Frustrating to watch. No plot and very little character development. You are continually waiting for something to happen but nothing does. That’s really the definition of frustration. Take a pass.
