While a pretty good suspenseful movie, I really wanted to see the father rescued from the hole and reunited with his daughter. Of course I get that clearly we were to use our imagination at the end. However, after all of his hard work and determination in getting his daughter back, we, the audience should have been rewarded with seeing them reunite. This is not up for debate. That’s how I feel. Just hearing him blow the whistle wasn’t enough for me... 🤷🏽‍♀️
