Great acting, beautiful settings, deep exploration of many timeless social issues such as the "white savior" complex, paternalism, globalization, and sustainability. Harrison Ford had said in some interview I saw/read that this was his favorite film to make. This really came through in his portrayal of Allie Fox.

Loved it! Pulls you right in and keeps you there. It's not mindless entertainment, but rather deeply exploratory of many relevant social issues. Pay attention to get the full effect. Makes me want to watch at least once more.

Plot is sketchy in places, but seeing Jenna Lyng Adams's performance compensated for that. She dug deep into the character of "Eva", displaying a very credible range of emotions. Her beauty and authenticity makes this movie worth a look. I had never seen her act before, but she has a new fan now.
