Boring. The main point of this movie was to drive religious talking points. It's quite literally propaganda.
The movie was mostly just two men talking in a room using the same type of recruitment language that religious figures use. It centers around a doctor who is doing a mental evaluation of a man who is possessed by a demon. The purpose of the doctor for the movie creators was to be the representative of science and reason. The doctor presents a weakly defended line of reason behind his decisions and then immediately abandons all sense when even the slightest push back is applied. Surely a man who spent at least 4 years in medical school wouldn't be willing to risk his license, career, and freedom to take risks for this guy on death row. I'm willing to suspend belief for movies, but their presentation here was ridiculous. The only reason for this was to make a doctor, a man of science, give in to "faith." It's an anti-intellectual movie that is framed as a debate while only giving one, extremely biased, side. This is why I use the word propaganda to describe the movie. I do not use that word lightly.
I cannot recommend this movie to anyone. It is a waste of time.
