Not the next Interstellar... Ad Astra try’s to throw in everything but the kitchen sink and does much of it imperfectly... the science was embarrassingly bad, as was the logic. Performances by the talented actors aside, it was extremely disappointing. I’m not sure psychologically, Brad Pitt’s character gains anything from his long journey: no closure, no meaning, other then that the illusion of a father is shattered, but come on... at the characters age... don’t you think he is mature enough to already understand that? Pointless
