absolutely hated it. only good part was cumberbatch’s acting. gimmicky and poorly written. absolutely no character development. the stakes were defined at the getgo and didn’t increase or make me empathetic toward the characters. was rooting for the “villain” the entire time and actual laughed out loud at the “gory” and “sad” bits. they included characters for shock factor and promptly killed them off. whole film was fast paced and clearly made for audience reactions rather than cinematic integrity.
