Great movie. Street fighter meets Oliver Twist. My only critique is that it would be much more efficient for the orphans to clean their room if they performed less acrobatics. Although it was strange that Mrs Hannigan and Annie looked so alike, sounded so alike, and behaved so alike. Also it was violent. Very violent. I was surprised by Nemo’s appearance in the latter half of the movie. Although he was the only animal to talk in the movie, I found it charming. That’s a fact. I would also like to mention that in several scenes the characters (specifically Annie) would scream “leaping lizards!” There aren’t lizards in this movie. No lizards, frogs, geckos, or anything green for that matter. I was disappointed in this because when someone promises me leaping lizards, I get leaping lizards. This lack henceforth caused me and my fellow knights of the round table to draw sword. In the scene which consists of the Rich folks measuring Annie for clothes, she was not being careful. Annie could have ended up in clothing that was too large or too small. I also didnt like the fact that the orphans were played off as being poor. My wife and i’s first born child recently told us he was an orphan. So, naturally we found this offensive. Other than that it was quite an amazing movie. Must note that it is a bad idea to listen to Mrs hannigans “little girls” song out of context. This is a bad bad baddie idea and should not be done. It’s rough in context. Got to be careful with those hitchhikers. ✨
