Watched cold case today and here's my opinion .The movies teaser and trailer were very promising and my expectations were very high. The very attractive and fit prithviraj has underplayed and has performed very well . Adithi balan is a natural and fits the character of a beautiful young media person /mother perfectly. Flawless performance . Aruvi is a great movie and adithi had done a fabulous job in aruvi. Same goes with this movie . Her presence is very pleasing . The horror scenes are genuinely scary and are shot well. Really appreciate that the movie has no romantic track and gives equal space to both prithvi and adithi . The locations and cinematography needs an applause. Beautifully shot . Prithvi's demeanor was that of a model and not of a police officer. The other police officers and prithvi's interactions with them was very filmy. If I have to quote a movie for its naturality, duruvangal pathinaaru is a good example. The story is similar, with a group of police officers investigating a crime. But the interactions and the flow is natural. The antagonist has a weak characterization and a not so convincing performance. What's with dolls and horror movies. Same old water , dolls and wells. Nothing different here . Many logical glitches too. The final reveal was a tepid "what "rather than a solid completely blown " whaaaaat" . Overall ,an ok watch . Nothing extraordinary. The movie as a whole was entertaining but lacked finnise.
