I feel as if no other movie about dinosaurs was as monumental as Jurassic Park. The CGI was truly outstanding, and I felt as if the plot moved along effortlessly. The actors portrayed their characters wonderfully, and the soundtrack by highly acclaimed composer John Williams enhanced the movie further. As a huge Michael Crichton fan, the movie stayed accurate to the book, and did not really omit anything important (save for Ed Regis). All in all, it is my favorite movie, and I have seen it 26 times as of this posting. And to say more, the dinosaurs were portrayed by puppeteers, though the guys are so good at this you can't tell if they're CGI or not. And a huge shout out to the visual effects team: Phil Tippett, Dennis Muren and the famed Stan Winston later won an Academy Award in 1994 for the special effects in this movie.
