This tragedy strays so far from the source material that it's actually concerning. There's a noticeable pattern of brainwashing taking place as we are again introduced to the same, reoccurring themes that appear in basically every show and movie today. The typical "Alice in Wonderland" struggle where the protagonist is entrapped within their own mind, wrestling with their individual perception of reality. There's the increasingly concerning idea of implanting/interfacing with AI and having it portrayed as the ONLY feesable next step in human evolution. The core values of Marxism pervade every aspect of this sickening rewrite as we the viewers are exposed to yet another political washover. Literally every person, on every planet who isn't a member of the powerful upper class, live in impoverished conditions. There exists a subclass of the "galactic overlords" who look suspiciously like socialist Nazis that ritualistically beat, torment, and keep the filthy lower class starved and enslaved. The absolute worst part of this series in my opinion is the way that they successfully remove the Covenant and their religious extremism as the overwhelming threat to humanity and instead the majority of conflict centers around humans vs humans. It's no wonder the world is in such a chaotic state when stuff like this is collectively agreed upon by a whole entire group of people as anything but propaganda and instead considered good storytelling. Any freethinking individual should recognize by now that we are being subconsciously programmed through subtle hints and thought control exercises. God help us all...
