The tales of our grandparents ran very similar to those outlined in this series. Somehow, it made me think a lot about Mircea Eliade's "The Myth of the Eternal Return" (and not because the romanians depicted on the series reminded me about him). Time goes by and, so far, when black clouds gathered over one side of the Atlantic, the opposite side looked sunny and fine just as winter and summer oppose between north and south. For the first time seems that black clouds shows everywhere, so let's see. This story proves to be timeless! 5 stars
