I watched the film today and I must say that the way Madhur Bhandarkar has told the story has really touched my heart. Every actor has tried to give his/her best but i could actually relate to the pain and agony of Nageswara Rao and Madhav and Phoolmati. Especially, the character of Madhav is so so relatable! On one hand he has his morality/ethics in place as well as on the other hand, the desperation of not being able to alleviate the pain of his family members torments him. That pain is real. Prateik Babbar has gone that extra mile to do justice to the role he has been given. Not only his physical transformation, but his body language, dialect everything seems apt. I never knew about Prakash Belawadi, but I am also equally thrilled by his performance. I would like to see more of his performances.
