Thought this was a superb film. Real Hitchcock vibes. Some very strong performances from the cast.
In all honesty, I would probably have given it a solid 4 stars but it’s pretty clear that there’s been a concerted campaign of giving it single star status (wondering if this might be fans or a certain EV manufacturer) so gave it an extra point to help balance the books.
My only complaint is that they could have tightened it up a bit. Think it would have been easy to have knocked 20-30mins off the duration and ended up with a much better tempo.

Just listened to this for the first time (took my local record shop a wee while to get it in stock).
Some albums take a while to grow on you, others you fall in love with instantly. This is most definitely in the latter category. Insanely beautiful lyrics and vocals. Instrumentation is on-the-button and the production is flawless.

Really enjoyed this book. Cruelty and injustice are at the heart of it but also compassion, redemption and a sense of striving to play something more than the part that others have cast for us. The pacing is so well managed and the dialogue sparse yet true to each character. Highly recommended.
