There are few games that are as good as RDR2.

If you never played the previous Batman:Arkham games, you may like it. This game is meh on all fronts, from graphics to combat, I couldn't play past the first hour-couldn't be fussed with something this poorly made. The premise is good, got four characters with different styles to chose from but implementation is quite bad. Also why is a game made in 2022 for PS5 30FPS with no graphical enhancements -__- Rocksteady's Arkham Asylum release over 14 years ago and that is miles ahead of whatever unfinished product this game is. I gave it two stars because I played it for free on PS plus lineup.

Santa Monica have delivered on what is now one of the most elite franchises in gaming history, this game is made with love and it shows. The combat is elite, the system is intricate enough that you spend your points carefully to use the right weapons that you deem are effective but not cumbersome where your sole focus is to upgrade the characters. The story, acting, rendering is magnificent. This game builds on the world that was shown in the previous game and adds in so much more, the side missions unlock more dialogue from our stoic hero- fleshing out the wisdom a God has that has seen a lot of pantheons.

The good- The game has improved a lot over the previous one, the combat movements are neat and the ability to wield the sabers makes it an interesting fight every time. The puzzles in the game are challenging but not too hard that you would need to google an answer for it. Story is great, the side missions are rewarding in their own way too and don't feel like a chore. What I would've liked to see- I would've given it 5 stars if it had more to explore- leaving the base planet, the other ones didn't feel as full. Also, some canon lore would've been great- its a star wars game after all and the reason one plays these is for the nostalgia.

The game's visuals are really good, character models are also well fleshed out. But... this isn't a dead space successor and calling it one would be doing a disservice to the memory of DS. The slow character movement coupled with the really poor combat system makes this unplayable for me. TBH- I was looking forward to the game and not based off the hype, it does tick a lot of right boxes but there isn't enough dread build up like the other horror games, not even a remotely interesting story.

I've played Cyberpunk three times- once as just polygons on PS4 when the game was broken, the second time when I got a PS5 and the game was fixed, the third time when they made it in to a masterpiece. CDPR has risen from the ashes and truly delivered a game like no other. With the latest patches and the new DLC- the story experience now has a coda. Few games focussed on story have so much to offer, RDR2 is the only other game that I can think of that does the same. If you haven't played this yet, pick up the game -you won't regret it.
