I have been living in the province of Ontario for the past 20 years. It wasn't easy to get a divorce in Quebec and move to Ontario. Of course my ex-husband having the money hired lawyers and influenced my lawyers so that I would not be given my settlement, during the divorce. How do you explain 11 lawyers and 2 very experience Accountants who cannot give an evaluation of the francishes your ex-husband owns? Why 11 lawyers? none would want to do any work for me, they got paid, and didn't work. Where is the protection for single parents against these lawyers? What they did to my children and myself for the past years is the worst mental abuse you can ever imagine. My ex-husband has cut off my children's health insurance, he has cut off alimony and child support whenever he wanted, it is non ending. What will it take to stop this obsessed and deranged person? Because he has money, people don't touch him? Please remind me, what country am I living in? Recently, the worst thing possible, my daughter cannot access her RESP!, My daughter who worked so hard for her grades! There is a Legal Seizure on her account! GOD help us, I am fed up with these controlling narcissistic ex-husbands who just want to destroy their ex-wives. Where is the protection for people? there are over 335,000 cases that have been filed for missed child support payments. What is the government doing about these ex-husbands who own multi-million dollar franchises, and get away with mentally torturing their ex-wives!
