I love Tim Burton and Danny Elfman and I am more than willing to give their creative vision a solid try, but why make a lesser copy of the first movie other than a money grab? There were far less specials effects, far less ghosts, far less creative sets, costumes, dialogue, and story than the first. The only gags they used were copies of the first. If they didn't have any ideas why not use stuff from the animated series? Like the demon car or the whole Lidia actually likes Beetlejuice vibe. Idk. I left the theater worse than before. I wish this thing was never announced because now I REALLY want a Beetlejuice2 that means something instead of this, but we are stuck with this.
