The most disappointing sequel I've ever see. There's no plot and there's no Joker. Why can't DC make a first-class superhero franchise? Why must we continue to rely on Christopher Nolan's amazing franchise? The first Joker movie felt like Heath Ledger level and now it's worse than the one in Suicide Squad. I feel so disappointed and helpless.

There were a lot of comments on Twitter about this movie so I decided to give it a chance. Sweeney's performances in Euphoria and The White Lotus made me think this was going to be a good movie but oh boy, how wrong I was. It seems that romcoms are extinct. There are no more romcoms like in the 90s and sadly they will not exist again. This movie is not even funny, there are comments that make you cringe and that seem very forced even for the genre. All the performances are forgettable, and you know the end of the story as soon as it begins. The plot is very empty, with no character construction and very marked stereotypes. Having series like Heartstopper as a proper and current romcom reference, I can't believe they make this trash.
