Absolutely loving the new series so far. I have always been a fan (Mr Pertwee was my doctor) but the last years have seen me struggling to make sense of some of the tenuous plotting but the segway episodes and the first 2 of the series have made me give a huge sigh of relief. Back is the emotion, the plot and arc and the humour. Loved it! Performances of all were a credit to the writing and production. Yeah!!!

Absolutely barmy but so worth a binge. Weirdly both amusing and absolutely horrifying. The actors are juggling an improbable script and yet make it believable . It’s tense and stressful at times and has chaotic moments and quiet ones. I haven’t watched anything quite like it. Adjoa Andoh and Anjou Mohindra are both perfect and I was pleased to see Mark Lewis Jones who I always feel Is underrated . Anyway if you think you can handle an infestation of masked villagers . a dramatic island setting with plenty of pathetic fallacy, some strong characters, death and mystery as well as some bonkers dialogue- you’re going to love it. I did - even though I suspect it will divide opinion. Probably not be visiting any Welsh islands for a while mind.

Really enjoyed this. Takes about 3 episodes to really get into it but definitely worth it. Best thing I’ve seen for a long time! Cast is superb and each era is depicted with some real sense of authenticity .
